Project Description:

Create the foundation of a fully modular and adaptable Workplace to enable our Customers to switch smart, secure and simple between our various services and product offerings

Build a strategic Workplace Solution with the capability to enable less-cost intensive inter and intra office building moves whereby supporting different Workstyles (Corporate or BYOD)

Key outcomes are:

1) Implement a future proof Workplace with integrated peripherals and new display adaptable to all workstyles (Corporate or BYOD), while eliminating operational complexity of 20 vendors, numerous peripherals and adapters2) Allow instant staff and team moves (inter and intra office building) whereby reducing move costs and supporting agile working strategy3) Standardizing our offering with new Work Place Solution and increasing End-User experience and productivity.

Team: The Strategy & Architecture within Workspace Devices Services is responsible for providing activities in the fields of strategic planning, solution architecture, release management and product ownership that are all focused on Workspace Devices Services (the end user environment), which includes physical and virtual desktop, software delivery, client hardware, endpoint security.

New joiner will collaborate with international team of 9 people located in Poland, Switzerland and Great Britain. This a team of architects, product owners, release managers and security experts. Additionally He/She will closely collaborate with DevOps teams, business analyst and other stakeholders.

The member of the of the cross-country team of other architects and release managers.

The project is currently at the engineering stage (proof of concept has been accepted).

The company responsible for changing the hardware will be clarified later.

Responsibilities
  • Opportunity to define the future Workplace through working closely with internal customers, other architects, DevOps engineers and vendors,
  • Responsibility to document and communicate the solutions & architectures through customer stories, blueprints, (technical) high level design documents, and clarifying the requirements.
  • Ownership of set of end user products (e.g. browsers, Office365, SCCM, hardware),
  • Mandate to collect/define detailed use cases and requirements,
  • Responsibility to manage and prioritize the product backlog in close cooperation with stakeholders,
  • Chance to drive quality improvements,
  • Opportunity to shape the way Agile working methods are implemented,
  • Leading role for innovation activities like developing/engineering proof of concepts of new technologies.
Skills
  1. 2-3 years of experience as a Release Manager/Product Owner or similar role
  2. Deep understanding of technology & digital workplace trends
  3. Proven track record in driving innovation
  4. Very good technical knowledge in a broad spectrum of products and technologies (e.g. Windows 10, Office 2016/365, SCCM)
  5. Architectural & analytical thinking as well as problem solving skills
